There is an outdoor swimming pool with an open-air jacuzzi and a separate children`s pool. There is also a scuba clinic in the main pool, as well as chair lounges and towel service.

Akumal Beach Resort is located directly on a 1 Km stretch of white sandy beach protected by a coral reef. For your comfort and convenience, there are chair lounges and towel service.
Activities
Dance Lessons, Horseback Riding ($), Volleyball and some activities are hosted by the staff along the pool and beach.

Restaurants
There are 4 Restaurants at Akumal Beach:
- Italian Restaurant - An a la carte dinner restaurant serving Italian cuisine from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Reservations at the a la carte restaurants will be limited to one reservation per restaurant per week.
- Mexican Beach House - An a la carte Mexican restaurant serving dinner from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Reservations at the a la carte restaurants will be limited to one reservation per restaurant per week.
- Main Restaurant - The main restaurant serves a full breakfast (6:45 am to 10:00 am), lunch (12:00 noon to 2;30 pm) and dinner (6:30 pm to 9:30 pm)
- La Langosta Borracha - Serves lobster, filet and 40 different types of wine. This restaurant is not included in the All-Inclusive Progam. Reservations at the a la carte will be limited to one reservation per restaurant per week.
